Regional Map
Development
Action Southwest in
partnership with tourism leaders, tourism industry associations,
and federal, provincial and municipal government representatives
have implemented a project to help grow the tourism industry
in southwest Saskatchewan. The project encompassed the creation
of a regional tourism map that would connect the visitor to
southwest communities and provide a promotional tool for the
region’s 100 plus key tourism destinations and for the
region as a whole.
The Action Southwest
regional map project will offer, for the first time, a tool
for marketing and creating linkages among all communities in
the region, an opportunity to market all of our key tourism
destinations, an opportunity to allow the retention of local
tourism dollars to each community, an opportunity to build more
partnerships through packaging promotions…..an opportunity
to be proud of all the southwest has to offer!
The project
partners extend gratitude and acknowledgement of all the tourism
attractions who supported this initiative and ultimately tourism
in the southwest region. This grassroots project is a
symbol of southwest success and what can be achieved by working
together.
