ETHANOL SYMPOSIUM FIRST FOR SASKATCHEWAN

Cypress Agri Energy and the southwest region are planning the provinces first ethanol symposium. The date has been set for Thursday, October 12, 2006 in Shauna von , SK.

The event will profile the ethanol industry and the economic impact the 90 million litre ethanol plant will mean for the area and the province. On the heals of Agriculture Minister, Chuck Strahl's recent announcement of the Biofuels Opportunities for Producers program (BOPI) and the release of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Strategy paper the symposium will provide the province a forum to step forward in the national framework for Canadian Ethanol development. More news on the event will be released in the coming weeks.
