Tourism Opportunities
Gull Lake and Area:
The Gull Lake interpretive center is a non-profit registered charity. It will be a tourist attraction and quality rest stop with an operating wind turbine on site on the Trans Canada Highway west of Gull Lake, Saskatchewan. The centre will provide interpretive and educational displays of various forms of energy sources with an emphasis on wind and green energy and environment. The centre will cater to the traveling public of all ages and students.
The location of the centre makes the project viable and sustainable with a projected 32,637 visitors per year. We require $1.5 million for the capital construction of the facility. Individuals or corporations interested in growing SW Saskatchewan or Sponsors contributing to the project will be issued a charitable tax receipt and contributions over $1000 will be recognized based on funding on the “Contributors wall of fame” displayed prominently in the main foyer.
