Projects Slated for Future Action
The Southwest region has been working very hard over the last two years, identifying and developing strategies to begin growing our regions four key sectors (agribusiness, manufacturing, energy and tourism) and the region at large.
The region’s industries have identified the following projects as vital for economic growth and prosperity in the Southwest region. The initiatives developed through this process will not address all of industries challenges, however, it is a starting point to creating a collaborative culture that is anticipated to continue partnering to implement change and address needs necessary for a successful region.
The following is a list of projects that have been identified for future ACTION by the Southwest region. It is anticipated that those engaged in economic development will consider the following as potential projects when developing their own planning strategies and in addition, look to the partners of Action Southwest for support of their endeavors.
